Freedom of speech is understood to be fundamental in a democracy. The First Amendment (Amendment I) to the United States Constitution prohibits the making of any law respecting an establishment of religion, impeding the free exercise of religion, abridging the freedom of speech, infringing on the freedom of the press, interfering with the right to peaceably assemble or prohibiting the petitioning for a governmental redress of grievances. It was adopted on December 15, 1791, as one of the ten amendments that comprise the Bill of Rights.

I have been saying this since I first logged on to the internet. Just because I like organizations like the ACLU; does not mean I believe in everything they believe in or stand for. Just like in our great country when we vote; we will never believe in everything the candidate we vote for; believes in or stands for. That does not mean we should not vote.
I make typos allot. I do not get paid to do this. I do not have a editor or anyone working for me at all. Sometimes it may take me more than one day to finish a article.

Why Do the Heathen Rage?
God's Word Speaks to the Reason for, and Answer to, Worldwide Terrorism
by Dennis Costella
The terrorist attack against the United States on September 11, 2001, shook the nation to its very core. It was indeed a "wake-up call" for America, for we now realize that we must be strong, alert and aware of the fact that liberty requires vigilance and that enemies, who are willing to go to inexplicably terrible ends to see America destroyed, abound without and within our country. Clearly, national security and the administration of justice are required as never before. It appears that our nation's response will go far to correct the lethargy and indifference that have existed within our borders, and America could very well come forth the better as a result of this horrific wickedness—that is our prayer.
But the Islamic terrorist attack also caused many to look to the Scriptures for an understanding of how this all fits in with God's plan for the ages. Was this a fulfillment of a specific prophecy? Is the end upon us? Has Armageddon arrived? Or does the Bible even tell us what we are to believe and what we are to know concerning these perilous days and the outcome of it all? Yes, It does! We need to look to God's Word for the answers. The attack is just one more event that coincides with what the Bible prophesies for our present time, for the age in which we live.
The Continuing Conflict
The second psalm provides an encapsulated prophecy of the course of the ages and the end for all who set themselves against the one, true God. What He has revealed will surely come to pass! A continuing battle rages between light and darkness, between God's plan for the ages and Satan's attempt to replace what is of God with a religious counterfeit. The days of ever increasing deception and wickedness ahead will eventually culminate in the Great Tribulation when the whole world, except for the redeemed, will worship the Antichrist (Rev. 13: 1-10).
The psalmist asks in verse 1, "Why do the heathen rage?" The answer: because they have rejected the God of the Bible and are energized by the god of this world to oppose what is God's plan through the Lord Jesus in the present Church Age and through Israel in the coming Kingdom of Christ on the earth (vv. 2-3). The Islamic hatred toward Israel, the United States and whoever else refuses to bend the knee and say, "Allah is the one, true god and Mohammed is his prophet" is readily apparent. But the same hatred is also true of atheistic communism and humanism. All religions and ideologies that "set themselves ... against the LORD, and against His Anointed" (v.2) are in conflict with the God of the Bible. Those who believe that the Bible is God's only and all-authoritative Word, that the Lord Jesus Christ is the only Savior and that the Father's will shall, indeed, come to pass in heaven and on earth are viewed by false religions and ideologies as the greatest hindrances to "world peace and justice." The unsaved scorn what the Word of God declares to be absolutely true.
What does the Word have to say about the future-and the present? First of all, God has promised a coming Kingdom in fulfillment of the promises made to the patriarchs of old, and He will perform those promises and keep those unconditional covenants with a believing remnant of Israel when the King of kings-the Lord Jesus Christ-returns to rule with a rod of iron "upon My holy hill of Zion" (vv. 1-6). The "heathen" certainly do "rage" and "imagine vain things" against what God says He will yet accomplish through a refined, redeemed and regathered chosen people following the purging of the Great Tribulation and the subsequent return and rule of God's "Anointed," the King of all the earth (Zech. 12: 1-3; 8-14; 14:1-4; Matt. 24:29-31). Jerusalem, as well as all of the land promised to Abraham and his seed, is included in God's plan for Israel. Can there be any wonder, therefore, why Satan stirs up animosity and rebellion against such a coming reality. The second psalm's references to the "rage" of the heathen certainly includes the religious fervor of the Islamic jihad ("holy war") against the Jews and any who align themselves with Israel. This holy war even extends to the Westernized world, which in the eyes of the Islamic fundamentalist, has "corrupted" many Muslims from rigidly following the Koran due to the overreaching influence of Western culture and ideals.
The Times of the Gentiles
Psalm 2 speaks prophetically of God's response to those who set themselves in opposition to His future plan for Israel. He "shall laugh ... [and] shall have them in derision" (v. 4). Judgment will fall upon all who withstand "the LORD, and ... His Anointed" (v. 2). But until that day when the wrath of God is vented during the "seventieth week" (Dan. 9:27), which precedes Christ's second coming to the earth, continual raging and satanically inspired hatred will be leveled against God's plan and against His people. During this "time of the Gentiles," the Jews remain under the chastening hand of God.
Luke 21:24-"... Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled. " This verse speaks prophetically of the animosity and desired dominion that all the surrounding nations have regarding Israel during this present dispensation. This "trodding down" of the Jews and the land of Israel began with the Babylonian reign of King Nebuchadnezzar, the first kingdom in the dream summarized in Daniel 2:31-45. The fourth and final kingdom described in the dream will be the revived Roman Empire with the ten toes. The key truth revealed in this prophetic vision of Nebuchadnezzar is that the opposition of the heathen will exist toward Israel until the "stone cut out ... without hands" smites the image upon the feet, the final empire of which the Antichrist will be the head. That destruction will take place when Christ returns "in power and great glory" and stands upon Mt. Zion. At that time (the end of the Tribulation), He will destroy all nations, which are led by the Antichrist himself and marshaled against Jerusalem (vv. 4-9 cf. Zech. 14:2-4; Joel 3:9-14). After the utter destruction of the Antichrist and his host, the smiting stone " [becomes] a great mountain, and [fills] the whole earth" (Dan. 2:35; 7:21-27). This will mark the "end of the times of the Gentiles" and the beginning of the millennial reign of Christ over the whole earth.
Therefore, Israel, though presently under the chastening hand of God due to their apostasy, still has a future regathering and blessing that is promised to a refined remnant following the Tribulation. God is not finished with the Jews, and they will yet experience a literal fulfillment of all the promises that God made to them in the Old Testament, when Israel was under the Law that God delivered to Moses on the Mount.
Again, "Why do the heathen rage?" Why is there such intense opposition to God's plan for the future blessing of Israel and His present plan for believers in the Church Age, even to the terrorist extreme we witness today? Why is there fervent scorn leveled at any who believes the Bible and the one, true God of the Bible? It is because that is the prophesied, satanically inspired mindset of the unregenerate "heathen" (Eph. 2:1-3; IJn. 5:19, 20), those who religiously reject God the Father, God the Son and the only Divine Revelation, the Bible. Terrorist activity by Islamic fundamentalists is simply a "worst case scenario" of satanically motivated opposition to God as predicted and described in the Word. Was the September 11th attack a fulfillment of a specific prophecy? No! Was it a continuation of the prophesied course of the "times of the Gentiles"? Yes!
The Church's Response
In the current dispensation, God is working in the world through His Church, composed of both Jews and Gentiles who trust the Lord Jesus Christ as their Savior in this Church Age (1 Cor. 10:32; 12:13-14). Read Acts 4:18-29. Notice that when the Jewish religious leaders threatened the early church to stop preaching Christ, the believers quoted the second psalm. The pagan Roman government then stepped in and tried to intimidate the believers and force them to stop preaching Christ as the only Savior. But the persecuted church aligned itself with the glorious truth given in Psalm 2: God is the Almighty Creator! His will shall perfectly come to pass! Rather than praying for peace, safety or ease, these believers prayed, "Grant unto Thy servants, that with all boldness they may speak Thy Word" (vv. 25-29).
Christian, we are in a similar situation today. The heathen are raging, and the powers that be are threatening. Will we pray and purpose to speak the Truth, preach Christ, stand true to God's Word and contend against whomever or whatever is set against It? We should. Cowering in silence is not an option, for we have the divine Record of how those faithful saints of old responded to the threatenings of those who opposed God and His Word. But always remember: As believers, ours is a spiritual battle, not carnal (Eph. 6:11ff). Our desire must be to seek the salvation of all men, not their defeat through a military or political conquest (which is the aim of the terrorist). The early church sought to speak the Word boldly so souls would be saved and Christ would be magnified.
In light of the recent events, a growing sentiment among influential figures and organizations is that no religious group should have the right to criticize another religion or to give the impression—let alone declare!—that their particular faith is the only true faith. Many view the narrow nature of "fundamentalism" as lacking in sensitivity and respect for all the other religions, which are supposedly all bonafide avenues to God.
Christian, the same political pressure and threats that the early church faced are leveled at the Bible-believer today who openly, boldly and with Spirit-wrought conviction proclaims, "Jesus Christ is the only Savior! The God of the Bible is the only God! The Old and New Testament Scriptures are the only revelation of God to man!" The early church was "commanded ... not to speak at all nor teach in the name of Jesus" (Acts 4:18). What was their response? We will hearken unto God, not man, "for we cannot but speak the things which we have seen and heard" (Acts 4:19-20). The same is true for us today–we must speak what the Word of God declares to be true, for at stake are the salvation of all who will hear and heed the Gospel and the Church's testimony before the world.
What was the impetus for the believers to stand strong and true when confronted with the raging of the unbelievers? The early church met together for prayer and claimed the promises of the second psalm (Acts 4:23-29). They acknowledged the sovereignty and might of their God and requested His enabling grace to counter the threats of the unsaved with a "Thus saith the Lord ... ! "
The conclusion of this psalm gives the sum of the whole matter: "Serve the LORD with fear, and rejoice with trembling. Kiss the Son [believe on Jesus Christ], lest He be angry, and ye perish from the way, when His wrath is kindled but a little [judgment lies ahead for all who refuse to believe and receive by faith the Son]. Blessed are all they that put their trust in Him" (vv. 11-12). Oh, dear Christian, we must preach the Gospel! We must stand firm in the Faith. We must strive to please our Lord in all things. And for all who do, "Blessed are all they that put their trust in Him." Amen!

Islam in the Light of Scripture – Part 2
Filling the Void
Why do some Westerners convert to Islam? What makes this religion so appealing to them? Secularism has produced a spiritual vacuum. In our Western view of the world, the prevailing "norm" has become that of secular humanism. Such a norm declares that humans rule the world! People are free to decide their own destinies. In our secular society, values have become relative and consequently are not really open to question. This process of secularization with its godless and norm-less tendencies is the bitter fruit of our Western civilization, which has abandoned its Christian heritage. The challenge for Westerners is to reconsider why they have abandoned their Christian heritage - not only in the social sense, but also personally. In abandoning it we are now in a terrible mess - intellectually, morally and spiritually. But people cannot function in a spiritual vacuum. They search for something to fill the void. In our time, Islam with its holistic worldview seems so appealing for those who no longer see Christianity as a vital faith, which engages all of life. Islam does not divide the sacred from the secular. Ghulam Sarwar writes, "Islam is a complete way of life. It is the guidance provided by Allah, the Creator of the Universe, for all mankind. It covers all the things people do in their lifetime. Islam tells the purpose of our creation, our final destiny and our place among other creatures. It shows us the best way to conduct our private, social, economic, moral and spiritual affairs of life."
From this perspective, the desire of Muslims to establish educational institutions in the West is understandable. For example, Muslims have their own university in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. On September 4, 2006, Evangelical/Reformed theologian, Dr. Ben Wentsel, attended the Islamic University of Rotterdam (IUR) for the opening exercises of the new academic year. The ceremony began with the reading of Sura 75 from the Koran. At the IUR a Muslim can study for iman, assistant-iman, Islamic theologian, Arabic teacher, interpreter etc. The IUR wants to build a bridge between the Islamic world and the west. But what struck Dr. Wentsel was the absence in the curriculum of a course in Bible knowledge and Christianity. He notes that Arabic dominates the curriculum too much. How can one build a bridge when there is no attempt to learn about the Dutch Christian heritage? Wentsel points out that the imans should also learn to read the Bible in Dutch as since the sixth century the Netherlands was greatly influenced by the Bible and Christianity. He also states that IUR faculty should ask for freedom for Christians to practice their faith in those countries where they are being persecuted.
Who is a Muslim?
Who is a Muslim? To be a Muslim is in the first place a social concept, a belonging to a religious-political community. It is not an expression of one's personal relationship with God. Westerners often think all Muslims are alike. This is of course not so. Islam is divided into various groupings, which do not recognize each other as orthodox. The main groupings are the Sunnis, Shiites, and the Sufis. The Sunnis form the main body of Islam, which comprises about eighty percent of all Muslims. They believe that the true line of succession from Muhammad is found in the historic succession of the caliphs. The Shiites are the followers of Ali, the first cousin of Muhammad the husband of his daughter Fatima. The Shiites believe that Ali was the true successor to Muhammad in the leadership of the Islamic community. The Suffis form the mystical wing of Islam that renounces worldly attachments, inclines to theological speculation, cultivates outward discipline, sees God in all things, and strives for union of their beings with God's. The name Sufi comes from the early ascetics who wore garments of wool (suf). Some Suffis have virtually deified Muhammad, something considered anathema by orthodox Muslims.
Islam the final religion
Unlike Christianity, Islam names itself, but even then the word "Islam" appears only eight times in the whole Koran. Sura 5:3 announces to the Muslims the completion of their religion. "This day have I perfected your religion for you, completed My favour upon you, and have chosen for you Islam as your religion." Islam is also viewed as the final religion. "And whoever seeks a religion other than Islam, it will never be accepted of him, and in the hereafter he will be one of the losers" (Surah 3:85). This belief in Islam as the only true and final religion influences Muslims' relationship to non-Muslims and gives them the feeling of superiority over all other religions. But Christians may never assume an air of superiority over against other religions. We are always under the judgment of the cross.
Islam does not mean "peace." It means "submission." God wants everyone to live in willed submission to Him. "Submission" constitutes the essence of what Islam is about. It means to "surrender oneself" and molding one's entire life according to the patterns of Islam. It focuses strongly on the will of God declaring it and explaining it so humans may submit to it. Hence, Islam places a major emphasis on law. Formal acts of worship in private and public help set the tone. It is about making the whole of life an act of worship and obedience. That's why the sharia (the law) is so important in Islam. It gives direction to obedience. Islam has always been a legalistic faith. It is a religion that suits "natural man."
The sacred and the secular
Dr. Wentsel notes that faith in Allah and science is not separated. He comments that the West can learn from Islam. Don't faith, science, and culture belong together? Islam challenges Christians to take their faith seriously. We need to teach our youth the Scripture and get them acquainted with the creeds and the confessions. They must be given a sense of excitement for the Scriptures as a guide for their daily lives. And Wentsel warns that if we continue to doubt or neglect the content of our faith, Islam will win.
Far too long, many Western Christians have privatized their faith. The Gospel is more than a pathway to heaven. It embraces all of life. In Scripture there is no duality between the sacred and the profane, between the public square and private faith. The Christian faith involves the will, the mind, the emotions. We believe with our whole being. In Christ we have become "a new creation" (2 Cor. 5:17; Gal. 6:15). There is no human condition that is not touched by the Gospel - marriage, child rearing, relationship to the government, business etc. There is no single neutral area in our life; nothing in life falls outside the power of sin and nothing is excluded from God's redemption. As Prof. Dr. J. H. Bavinck stated, "Christ wants to be Lord of the whole of life...It is impossible to make someone a partial disciple of Jesus Christ. If one is to be a disciple, he has to become a disciple wholly, he must follow Christ in his personal life as well as in his social, economic, and political relationships."

Islam in the light of Scripture – Part 3
How Islam Differs from Christianity (3)
What do Islam and Christianity have in common and where do they differ? When the Philippian jailer asked Paul and Silas, "Sirs, what must I do to be saved?" They replied, "Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved and your household" (Acts 16:30-31). A Muslim would totally disagree with the answer given to the jailer. Why? Although Islam may use the same vocabulary as Christians, its view of man, sin and salvation clashes with Scripture.
What is man?
What is man? The Koran teaches that man is a created being, fashioned from a clot of wet earth (Sura 23:12-14). Angels are commanded to fall down in prostration before him despite their inherent superiority - after all, they are created of light while man is created of mud. Man is god-formed. But he is not made in the image or likeness of our Creator God. He is created to serve and to obey god. Sura 51:56 says, "I have only created jinn and men, that they may serve Me." In other words, the Koran describes man's relationship with god as master and servant rather than Father and child.
Man has the unique ability to know what is right and what is wrong. He can choose to act freely in accordance with such knowledge. He, alone in the world, owns the faculty of choosing to conform or not to conform to God's will. He is free to be good or evil, to resemble mud or to resemble God. He holds his own destiny and that of the world in his hands. Dr. Bill Musk points to the stark difference between the Biblical and Islamic view of man. He comments, "The Biblical account revels in the wonder of humankind being made in the image of God, able to enjoy fellowship with its creator, while the Koranic account is more reticent about any kind of communion between an absolute creator and a shapely bit of dust."
The Fall in Islam
While the Koran acknowledges the historicity of Adam's fall, it does not teach the doctrine of original sin. The fall of Adam is viewed as an accident or mistake, not a deliberate choice by Adam to disobey the Creator. His fall didn't constitute a "fall" for the whole human race. In Muslim theology there is no concept of original sin and of its transgression from generation to generation. Man is naturally good. He is born without sin. According to the Koran, a human being's soul is "prone to evil" (Sura 12:53) but evil is not inherent in human nature. Adam repented of his disobedience and God forgave him (Sura 2:37). Each new baby comes into the world programmed with an inclination towards God, toward true religion. Each human being is, therefore, by God's intention, born to be a Muslim. Badru Katerrega goes so far as to say, "all people are born as true Muslims, innocent, pure, and free."
What is sin?
What then is sin? The worst thing is to believe in a god other than Allah or to believe in Allah but also to believe in other gods at the same time. The lists of sins includes insulting Muhammad, neglecting the Five Pillars of Islam, namely, to recite the creed, to pray, to fast, to give alms, to make the pilgrimage to Mecca at least once in one's lifetime. A sin is also to break Islamic law, which includes prohibitions against drinking alcohol, engaging in immoral sexual behaviour, eating pork, charging interest for loans, gambling and other laws. Since there is no Biblical concept of sin, Muslims do not see the need for redemption.
A Biblical Perspective
Original sin is a distinctively Christian concept. Sin is universal. It affects the total being. It is not true that only drunkards, adulterers, thieves and other such characters have sinned. We all have sinned and come short of the glory of God. (Rom. 3:23) The root of evil is our rebellion against God. One can be a person of outstanding character and still a sinner. When God is not recognized as the centre, the source, and the goal of our existence, man is in a state of rebellion. He constantly stands in defiance of God's will. If he does not know the Redeemer, religion as such, even in its most noble form, can never be viewed as anything other than human rebellion against God.
Salvation by works
Muslims believe they don't need a Saviour. They already worship Allah. They also have their holy book - the Koran. But it's not good enough to say you are a Muslim. You have to do good works. Muhammad said in a hadith, "The contents of the heart are reflected in good works." Muslims argue, therefore, that everyone has an equal possibility for acquiring heaven as each person starts his or her life with a clean slate before god. The path to paradise is the law given in the "Divine communication." According to Islam, this divinely given law and divinely offered forgiveness is a sufficient remedy for any human being's disobedience. It has the means to lead man to final perfection. Each individual stands accountable for his or her obedience or disobedience. Islam requires people to earn their way into Paradise by works. Kenneth Grag emphasises the point that law has to take precedence even over theology in Islam: "Law, rather than theology, has the prior emphasis in Islam. Broadly, it is obedience to the will of God, rather than fellowship in the knowledge of God's nature, which is paramount. Revelation is for direction of life, rather than disclosure of mystery - Islam is essentially submission, rather than 'communion'." If a Muslim finds favour with Allah, it is the fruit of his own labour. The Koran says: "This Day (Day of Resurrection), none will be wronged in anything, nor will you be requited anything except that which you used to do (Sura 36:54). Musk notes, "At the final judgement, a person will be saved if his good deeds outweigh his evil deeds. Human beings, then, are not so much in need of someone to save them as of teachers and guides who will give them God's commandments and warn them of the consequences of non-submission."
For those Muslims who have been "taught" by keeping the law they can enter Paradise, there is no real sense of hope of absolute forgiveness. The way of the law requires punishment and retribution. A practising Muslim told me; "I can never be sure whether or not I will go to paradise regardless how much good I do. It still depends on Allah's will where I go." I believe Islam's lack of understanding of sin and salvation is all the more remarkable since, historically speaking, Islam is related to Judaism and Christianity.
Faith
What is the role of faith in Islam? The word predominantly used for "faith" in the Koran is descriptive of human action - men and women acting out their commitment. In other words, the Koran presents God as being concerned with something people do, with the persons who do it. Musk observes, "In focus is the requirement for a 'believer' to be a person of faith rather than just one who acquiesces to a set of religious propositions." For some Muslim theologians "faith" equates simply to obeying god's commandments. For others, faith is primarily expressed in terms of knowing god, by which is meant submitting to him, exalting and worshipping only him. Consequently, "submission" constitutes the essence of what Islam is about.
The Christian faith is more than intellectual consent to doctrines. It involves trust and a personal relationship with the Triune God. God is neither an abstract idea nor a projection of our imagination. We may say to God, "Abba, Father." Our anchor of hope is grounded in the death of Christ for our sins. We know that our Redeemer lives. Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. This blessed assurance of salvation is independent of science, culture and circumstances. In Islam, a Muslim is god's servant, representing his Lord in the world. According to Scripture, a Christian is God's friend, saved by the Son's death on the cross on his behalf. He serves his Lord out of gratitude for "the sheer grace earned" for him by Christ (Lord's Day 7:21).

CAN A CHRISTIAN PRAY TO ALLAH?
By Pastor Chuck Baldwin
October 9, 2007
NewsWithViews.com
George W. Bush was twice elected President of the United States with great assistance from evangelical Christians, who, almost universally, believed he was a born-again believer. Many still hold onto that belief. In fact, evangelical Christians compose the bulk of the ever-shrinking base of support Bush has left. This is due almost exclusively to this belief that Bush is a born-again Christian.
As a minister of the Gospel for more than three decades, I have witnessed professing Christians do and say just about anything one would associate with unbelief. In fact, nowadays the line dividing believers and unbelievers seems practically nonexistent.
I've known unbelievers who are far kinder and more compassionate than many professing believers. In fact, professing Christians are sometimes even meaner and more cantankerous than unbelievers. (Don't get me wrong: I've known many unbelievers who were as mean as rattlesnakes, too.)
Another paradox to me is how so many professing believers (including pastors) seem to lack the spiritual discernment to understand even the simplest principles. This is especially true regarding the principles of freedom and national independence. One would assume that knowledge of the Scriptures, along with the aid of the Holy Spirit, would cause believers to be on the front lines in the defense of these principles. However, many times, unbelievers are the ones fighting for liberty, while believers sit piously and passively on the sidelines. What a shame!
However, that believers can continue to propound the "Christianity" of George W. Bush takes the cake. One has to hand it to Karl Rove: he thoroughly and masterfully fooled the Religious Right. And he did it with only a little assistance from Bush.
A few public catch phrases; some prayer breakfasts; a few references to Jesus; some personal meetings; and a few phone calls or personal meetings with big-name evangelicals was all it took to beguile the vast majority of professing believers. Because of this, George W. Bush is now and forever known as "our beloved Christian President."
Then again, how would our Christian brethren react if someone came into their church and said that "all religions pray to the same God"? I dare say such a statement would be met with the most vehement rejection. Yet, that is exactly what President Bush has said repeatedly. The latest example was just last Friday, October 5, 2007.
In an interview with Al Arabiya reporter Elie Nakouzi, Bush said, "I believe that all the world, whether they be Muslim, Christian, or any other religion, pray to the same God." Bush has made this same statement throughout his Presidency. The statement obviously reflects a deep-seated belief. [Read]
Of course, George W. Bush is the first President in U.S. history to celebrate Ramadan in the White House. He is also the first President to worship and pray in a Shinto temple.
Last Friday, World Net Daily quoted Bush as saying, "We are having an Iftaar dinner tonight--I say, 'we'-- it's my wife and I." Bush also said, "This is the seventh one in the seven years I've been the president. It gives me a chance to say 'Ramadan Mubarak.'" Bush is also quoted as saying, "I want American citizens to see me hosting an Iftaar dinner."
The Iftaar dinner refers to the evening meal for breaking the daily fast during the Islamic month of Ramadan. "Mubarak" means "blessed." So, when Bush says "Ramadan Mubarak" he is saying that Ramadan is blessed (by God), or "blessed Ramadan."
I would very much like to see President Bush ask one of his Muslim or Shintoist friends to pray in Jesus' name, or ask them to take Christian communion, or publicly worship the Lord Jesus Christ. You know as well as I do that no Muslim would deny Allah by worshipping Jesus Christ. Yet, our supposed "Christian" President has no qualms about denying Christ in order to worship Allah or pray to Shinto gods.
Anyone with even a casual knowledge of Islam knows that when Muhammad founded the Muslim religion there were about 300 pagan gods being worshipped in the region. He selected the moon god, Allah, and proclaimed it to be the one true God. This is, of course, the origin of the crescent moon symbol of Islam.
Therefore, when President Bush says Muslims and Christians worship the same god, he is saying the Lord Jesus Christ is not superior to the pagan moon god, Allah. Or to turn it around, Bush is saying the pagan moon god, Allah, is equal to the Lord Jesus Christ. And it would appear that Bush would have the same belief regarding the Shinto gods, or any other pagan god, for that matter.
So, here is the sixty-four million dollar question: can a Christian pray to Allah or to any other false god? Can a Christian worship any other god? Can a Christian recognize a pagan god to be equal to the Lord Jesus Christ?
Every true Christian knows that the Lord Jesus Christ is the only way to God the Father. Jesus is not "a" way of salvation. He is the only way of salvation, and His is the only name whereby we are saved. No man comes unto the Father except through Christ (John 14:6; Acts 4:12). This is Christianity 101. We have pre-kindergarten children in our Sunday School that apparently understand more about Bible truth than our supposed "Christian" President.
However, the Scriptures are even more explicit. For example, 1 John 2:22,23 states unequivocally, "Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son. Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father."
Could the Apostle John be any plainer? Any person denying the Son denies the Father, and any person who has not the Son has not the Father. Plus, anyone who denies that Jesus is the Christ (Messiah, Savior) is an antichrist.
The Apostle Paul stated in Philippians 2:10,11 "That at the name of Jesus [not Allah] every knee should bow [including the knee of Muhammad], of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess [including the tongues of Muslims, Shintoists, Buddhists, and atheists] that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father."
I ask again, can a true Christian pray to Allah or worship Allah (or any other false god)? Would any real Christian not cringe at the thought that he or she might actually equate the Lord Jesus Christ, the virgin-born Savior of the world, with a false, pagan god or dare to reduce the sinless, resurrected Christ to the ranks of pagan idols? Perish the thought!
So, what does this tell us of George W. Bush? How can he deny his Lord for the sake of political correctness? Furthermore, what does this tell us about the hundreds and thousands of Christians and pastors across America who continue to defend and laud this apostate?

It is one thing for evangelicals to support President Bush for political reasons. But for evangelicals to support President Bush for his "Christianity" is the height of absurdity. The man has proven he has absolutely no understanding of genuine Christianity, and for evangelicals to continue to support him on that basis only serves to display their own ignorance or compromise--or both.

Self-Righteousness
kills
Self-Righteousness. It’s deadly. It’s
subtle. And it’s in all of us. It's a sign
that our religion has become our
personal identity so any attack on the
religion becomes and attack to us. Selfrighteousness means thinking there’s
something in us which deserves God’s
mercy, something in us which earns His
grace.
We don't say it at all, but in our hearts
we’re thinking Allah, I thank you that I
am not like other men. Allah's owes me
because I am better than others because;
I obey Allah's commandents and the
teaching of Islam. I live a good life and
doing my best. I pray 5 times a day and
other times. I read the Quran and say dhikr
every day. I fasted every ramadan and other
times . I go to mosque and give charity
and zakat. I dress modestly and wear my
hijab.I help the poor and those who are in
need. I performed kurban and pilgrimage.
Allah should love me, help me and answer
my prayer."I AM RELIGIOUS"
What’s Wrong With These Statements
Above?
"For they being ignorant of God's
righteousness, and going about to
establish their own righteousness, have not
submitted themselves unto the
righteousness of God.”
"All the ways of a man are clean in
his own eyes; but the Lord weighs the
heart.Who can say, I have made my
heart clean, I am pure from my sin?
The heart is deceitful above all things,
and desperately wicked: who can
know it?
"If we say that we have no sin, we are
deceiving ourselves and the truth is
not in us. If we say that we have not
sinned, we make Him a liar and His
word is not in us. As it is written,
There is none righteous, no, not
one.For there is not a just man upon
earth, that doeth good, and sinneth
not."
Understanding who God is in light of
His word He is holy and righteous.
God is our Judge and the standard is
God Himself. God's holiness demands
perfection not goodness."Be ye
therefore perfect,even as your Father
(God) which is in heaven is perfect.”
Why Islam is SO
successful?
Why Islam is so successful?
It is an easier religion to live up
to it makes us feel good. It
does not give us anguish or a
guilty conscience nor the
frustration of trying without
success to attain in practical
living the requirements of an
absolute moral standard. There
is nothing in Islam to lead us to
know the extent of our sin and
strip us of every pleasing
pretence of our righteousness.
For our righteous
deeds,—our best efforts
after the fulfillment of Allah's
and His Messenger
commands, are stained and
rendered ineffective by our
general sinful condition. For
out of the heart proceed evil
thoughts, murders,
adulteries, fornications,
thefts, false witness,
blasphemies: The heart is
deceitful above all things,
and desperately wicked:
who can know it. As it is
written none is righteous no
not one for all have sinned
and comes short of the glory
of God.
If I find more I will post them here in the future.
